These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the taxi services provided by Speedline Taxis Farnham , located in Farnham, Waverly Borough Council (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). By booking a taxi or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Service Provision:
We offer taxi services for transportation within Farnham, Waverly Borough Council, and surrounding areas. Our services are subject to vehicle availability and compliance with local laws and regulations.
Booking and Payments: To book a taxi, you may contact us through our designated phone line, website, or mobile application. By booking a taxi, you agree to provide accurate information regarding your pickup location, destination, and any other required details. Payments for taxi services are due at the end of the trip and can be made in cash or through our accepted electronic payment methods.
Fares and Pricing: Our fares are calculated based on various factors, including distance, time, and additional services requested. The applicable fare will be communicated to you prior to the start of your journey. Any additional charges, such as tolls or parking fees, may be added to the final fare.
Passenger Conduct: Passengers must behave in a respectful and lawful manner during the entire journey. Any behavior that endangers the driver, other passengers, or the vehicle itself will not be tolerated. The driver reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the trip if a passenger’s conduct is deemed unacceptable.
Lost or Damaged Property: We strive to ensure the safety of our passengers’ belongings; however, we are not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen property during the journey. Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings and should take necessary precautions.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy: If you need to cancel a booked taxi, please notify us at the earliest opportunity. In the case of a no-show (failure to be present at the designated pickup location), you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Service Limitations: While we strive to provide a reliable service, there may be instances beyond our control that could affect the availability or timeliness of our taxis, such as traffic conditions or unforeseen events. We shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience arising from such circumstances.
Complaints and Feedback: If you have any complaints, concerns, or feedback regarding our taxi services, please contact us through our designated channels. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns and provide a satisfactory resolution.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our taxi services.
Insurance: Our vehicles are insured in compliance with applicable regulations. However, passengers are advised to carry their own personal insurance for any additional coverage they may require.
Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, specifically those of Farnham, Waverly Borough Council, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the provision of our taxi services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the jurisdiction of Farnham, Waverly Borough Council.
Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written.
By booking a taxi or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our taxi services.
